ukdrn.co.uk is 25 years old this year. I really can’t believe it’s lasted this long. By website I mean – the first original ukdrn homepage.
The forum came afterwards.
It’s had a lot of technical issues over the years and sadly it was completely lost 2 years ago and many of the features were lost, but I, and it, carried on.
The forum has somehow survived through the years, although it badly needs some TLC at the moment. It has a few broken links here and there and not all of the
information is correct. As most of it was built from peoples memories and magazine features that weren’t always correct themselves.
I don’t contribute much to the forum these days, but it still receives a lot of traffic and it still has it’s place in the sport.
For the last 10 years I’ve concentrated more on my photography (which I love) and other media publications and outlets including social media
I’m very proud of ukdrn and I feel that it’s played its part in the sport I love. I’ve always tried to run it with integrity and for the good of the sport.
Not for my own gain, self promotion or ego.
I want to thank all of the forum contributors and moderators, it wouldn’t be what it is without you. I want to also thank everyone who has supported me in any
way over the years (you know who you are).
Stay safe everyone and thanks again.
