. The headers were blowin' out smoke on every run.. I'm sure Norm told me why they were doing that but I can't remember now

''The smoke is water vapour, not oil. The water overflow pipes went into the rear exhausts on both sides but the check valve pressure was too low, hence the 'steaming'. It was easy fixable but not that day.'
Definitely nothing wrong with the motor, as a few months later Norm ran the first Pro Comp 6, with a 200 mph + terminal, in Europe.
