The California Hot Rod Reunion, presented by Good Vibrations Motorsports and featuring Nitro Revival, is proud to announce the official lineup of 17 racing classes set to compete at this year’s event, taking place October 24–26, 2025 at the legendary Famoso Dragstrip.
Headlining the weekend will be the fan-favorite Nitro-burning Top Fuel Dragsters and Funny Cars, alongside all NHRA Heritage Series Group 1 and 2 classes, plus AFX. In a continued effort to expand participation and excitement, the AA/Fuel Altered class remains open to all nitro-burning Fuel Altereds—welcoming a thrilling mix of short and long wheelbase machines.
New for 2025, the Reunion will also welcome:
• The Outlaw Gasser Association making exhibition runs throughout the weekend, and
• The California Independent Funny Car Association.
These additions bring even more variety and competition to the already packed lineup.
In total, around 400 competitors will take to the strip, each racing for the prestigious “Wally” trophy and a chance to etch their name into Hot Rod Reunion history.
While the event officially kicks off on Friday, October 24, fans who purchase a Full Event Spectator Ticket will gain exclusive access to Thursday’s Test and Tune session, held on October 23.
