Does anyone know the whereabouts of my old pro stock bike. (Cloud Nine) It was built in 1981 by Alan and Graham Nash. It was painted blue. Based on a Kawasaki Z1R it had a 1327 motor with a superbike mike head etc. MCU swing arm. I sold the chassis to Steve Tong in 1983-84 who owned Orient Express the turbo funny bike. I can't remember where the engine went to. It has the race number APS281. Any news would gratefully received.

I believe Steve Watson bought it off Steve Tong and raced it for a couple of seasons...

I left the sport at the end of 1987 for a while so do not know any more than this on this matter.

Hi guys, Many thanks for the info. I actually saw the bike before the auction in pictures released. It brought back a load of sweet memories. I really wanted to bid for it but was away when the auction was held. But business commitments and the fact i travel a lot means i will have to give it a miss. Shame really as i would have loved to have put it back together again.

And here is Cloud Nine launching off the line at Long Marston in 1981 September 11th/12th. There were two other Pro Stockers entered; Alan Thompson's Tarantula and Graham Nash both riding Suzuki's.
