SBS Worldwide has just announced that it has become a sponsor of the Allard Chrysler restoration. Tomorrow (Dec 6th) SBS will pick up the crated engine from Booth-Arons and fly it back to Heathrow. This marks an important stage in the project and we hope to be able to display the engine shortly. Details will appear on the ACAG website soon and have just been published on http://www.eurodragster.com. The pic shows the engine being readied for crating.

Now the engine has arrived I thought we should ask ACAG supporter Peter Walters to design a trailer wrap for the Allard Chrysler Road Show. All sponsors and supporter's names will be on the final design but I think Peter has done his usual excellent job. All we need now is the trailer or a flatbed truck! Latest News on http://www.allardchrysler.org gives more details.

Nice pics Nick. We've still got the Inglewoods as you know. Probably the only two Inglewood slicks anywhere in the world. We wont be running the water cooler though which was discarded the following year. We will be running some water in the block at the front with a cross-over and also an oil cooler.

The list of sponsors contributing to the restoration fund is growing. Links to their websites can be found on the links page on http://www.allardchrysler.org. Two more names have been added; those of F&A Racing and RBS Insurance. Full details on the latest news page of http://www.allardchrysler.org and http://www.eurodragster.com. F&A Racing is a new European Top Fuel Dragster team who have purchased Morgan Lucas's 2009 Geico car. They have donated £1000 to the restoration fund and will follow this up with 5 percent of all sponsorship monies received for their fuel car during 2011. RBS Insurance is sponsoring the repair and repaint of the Allard's body panels. Pic shows Geico car and Tony Rider of RBS in the Allard.
