I remember it Jerry, here's a picture of the car from that event.
Below that is a great picture of Damian and Kelly Bacon's lovely 1929 Model A Ford Sedan Delivery losing a blower belt against Andy Hadfield's rapid 9 second Model T.
The picture was sent to me by Colin Barlow, the same person who has sent us all those
excellent pictures from the 60's and 70's that we've been enjoying on the forum.
Colin still attends most meetings in the UK and is quite a regular at SCR.

Great to see Lee C out with paint on the pop. I designed that mural back end of last year. We did the devil flames etc with the green light from Mr Keith potter. The idea with the mural was we would do it and the lettering as close as we could to the stuff that appeared on the devil altered. The idea originally being to run the mural on the bootlid and a gravyard scene on the flames on the side. I'm chuffed with the mural on the doors though - been a long while since we've seen something like that ..
