What a incredible weekend for European drag racing.
At the four wides NHRA event Jonny Lindberg maked the final of TAFC and lost because of bad shake caused by judt a few bolts.
Jimmy Alund WON Pro Stock at the event making him one of only a few overseas racers to ever win a wally.

And finally Ian King won the Xoticycle/Roaring Toyz Spring Nationals (Manufacturers Cup) at SGMP in the USA.
Ian took out Larry McBride and Chris Hand on the way and in the final ran a amazing 5.878 that that also gives him the final spot in the MTC 5 Second club.

Well done guys we're proud of you all.

Yes and no.

Yes he won a Wally, It was in March 2004 in Tucson, Ariz, South western International Raceway to be precise.

No, because the Tucson event was a divisional and not a national event.

National events have a higher status, but to be honest, having been to many divisional and national events the standard of cars and their performance is as close to equal as you can get

Getting back on track, to get to those qualifying positions and so deep into eliminations should get all our respect, and Ian King doing 5.80's, on one and a bit wheels..... is nuts
