i had a great weekend as we ran 9.96/110 first out with a big wheelie pulling the chute at 1000ft to test the new chute,back to the pits for a quick check (3 hrs) of the chassis as i was told there was about 9 inches of air under the front tyres....oh and wind the wheelie bars down a bit...
sunday opened with a strong burnout,hit it on the green picking the fronts up less and running 8.703/145 for a new best time.

2nd pass resulted in a big burnout getting the grandstands a good view of the roof as it went up on to two wheels,same launch as usual (no transbrake) toe in all the way to a 8.564/147....
i spent part of the weekend crewing for dave marsh and his standard 8 comp coupe (pic 9 on pad's post) got some good runs in with it,had a few issues to sort out but we found them and got them fixed..
massive thanks to jerry and the track crew as the surface was so sticky and a pleasure to race on...
