Here are some pics of those two Sprites when they were racing.
It is a shame that this Website is getting so few new posts - is that due to the increasing age (and sad deaths) of those racers of the 1960's, 70's and 80's?

I initially drove my street Sprite (WCR 699) when I started drag racing but realised that there was a good chance of breaking something and getting stranded at the Pod. So I bought a crashed Sprite for spares and to rebuild as a pure race car - this was VNR 448 and was built in our back garden....

This Sprite was the RAC Junior Modified winner in 1975.

We are having to downsize and so my two Sprites are for sale. The 1958 is all steel, with a 1098cc engine, looking for around £13,000. It is complete with lots of spares and is on a SORN. The 1960 V8 (which is road legal) around £10,000. Also on a SORN.
Obviously I have all the documented history from their drag racing days and so would like to see them go to a good home. Both have had one owner for over 50 years and so are unique in many ways.
