I've also heard Robin wants to build a blown nitro Daimler for NFAA competition but due to the max nitro percentage being 85% he feels he can't make it work (needs to be 100% nitro or there abouts)

I remember Doug Bond sitting around one night at the track reminiscing about Daimler Hemi's on Nitro, apparently certain Triumph pistons fit the bore perfectly and give a really good compression ratio for use with blown nitro motors.

He used the engine in a rod and sold the rest to someone who worked in the helicoper factory near Weston Super Mare, never to be seen again. (I was offered the chassis and body, but at the time did not have anywhere to put it.)
