Loved the two early WZ videos! WZ2 is actually earlier than WZ1 as the hangar on the right has long gone. I think that WZ2 is possibly from the July 1984 meeting. It certainly wasn't from the first ever WZ NSA sprint which was held in June 1981. That meeting was held over two distances; eighth for the bigger bikes and a full quarter for the smaller bikes. The reason being that there was a big pile of manure in the shutdown area!

The NSA still runs at WZ four times a year but there's been quite a few changes since the 1980's. The startline is about 20 yards further forward, chocks are not used now and the pits are not located on the left of the track. However, the biggest change is that we now run twin lanes and we have done so for many years.

Yes you're correct Clive the WZ2 clip is titled as 21, 22 July 1984. The rest of the clips are untitled.

Here's some more, this time from the George Brown Memorial Sprint at the Pod in '82. Lots of old bikes and faces....
