I've been chatting to Captain Jack for a while through Facebook and he now has the Kart running again.
He tells me he would love to come to the UK and run it but would need a sponsor.
With Jack in the hot seat they have been trying the Kart out on some public road

no this was Highwayman...
but I'm pretty sure the guy with the glasses on the pic Jon posted is Dave Whysall. That pic is from '68 and Dave Whysall ran the Highwayman with D. Adams in the early 70s and that looks like him leaning on the back of the Cresta...
