That was probably taken at the Sept 27th 1970 meeting as Commuter is fitted with the larger rear wheels and streamlined scuttle ready for it's runs at Elvington Records Meet the following week.

At this meeting it clocked a 205mph terminal speed making it the first car to run 200 at Santa Pod

I'd be standing on top of a Thames 15cwt van somewhere in the back of that shot.....1973 was a great year for drag racing, Priddle and Skilton with new cars plus Petersen internationals with the American FCs.....great photos thanks to Trevor for sharing

Don Beadle (kneeling)... Could be on the run that the lenco was fitted (but no one knew which way the lever had to go, CS shifted from high to low gear, then everyone knew which way the lever went.
