In the background on shot 5 looks like the DD Buick with Bootsie standing at the front.
Chris
Yes that's Bootsie but the car is the newly completed DD Atlantic that John Harrison drove... 8)

Ah, the memories of TC (the Kenosha, Wisconsin man in black) and his double Norton. My friends and I spent many anxious months awaiting his arrival after it was announced he would bring the black beast to England.

Finally the day came and we lined the fences to see him and hear gobs and gobs of high percentage nitro roaring from the pipes.expected thunderous noise similar to what were would hear from the british bikes of the time. No throaty roar as the throttle was blipped up and down. All we heard was the sound of what seemed like a regular street bike as TC rolled the beast from start rollers to burnout box.

Then, he let rip! And what a sound. We Brits just weren't ready for a nitro bike that could idle like a street bike when it wasn't racing. I'll never forget those runs of his. I saw him at Silverstone and the Pod and I still remember everything vividly. Great days!
