you're right Badger it is Phil Evans, first time I've seen it without the licks, the bug next door is Mick Hillier's who went onto comp altereds, his canopied T is still out there. Looks like the top of the door is coming open on Fire in'jun

the door was only open a bit at the top nothing to worry about the rest of the door always stayed shut

What a stunning angle of the Manta funny, and boy didn't that shape work as a funny car!
Is this a later shot of the car in different paint? or earlier with the early seventies funny aerofoils?
