Not sure Jon. Must be Blackbushe for 'The Swede' Volvo, and I bet its Robin Tallis in the Mini, again at the 'Bushe. What says TT? In the first pic I can see start line marshals Big Pete, who starred in 'Drag On A Summers Day' wearing a boob T-Shirt, John Fordham and Steve Collins. He's in the blue jacket.

The Blue mini (GM6) might not be Robin Tallis but Bill?....... from Weymouth, who had an 1100 mini that used to just beat my Sprite in the Junior Modified class in 1974/5

I think Bob's was a Mini Clubman with a gold stripe along its sides. I think it ran as an H/Modified?

yes the Mini is Robin Tallis, looks like it was taken in '73, the following year it was white in Castrol colours and flames. The Corvette BM6 is John Artkinstall, I think this car went on to be painted stars and stripes. great pics

Ah Robin Tallis it is then - But who's was the gold healey 3000 hardtop in the other lane??
Also Robin had a giant in his pit crew for a while, when the back of the mini wasn't straight in his carrying van, this guy just picked up the back end and moved it across!!
