Nice shot Tear 101. Its good to know that the altered is still around in the hands of former Junior racer Ricky Emms. The team had the altered on display at last year's Dragstalgia.

Heres one i took as a youngster of straight shooter. Sorry about the quality but its been stuck on my tool box for many years.

I didn't know that.
I stood looking at the car for ages as I thought I recognized it.

My late father crewed for the Turners from the days of their last comp altered until the netcall days. He always said that this fuel altered was the best looking car ever and I agree. It was nice to see it again last year at dragstalgia.

Here's today pic. This time it's Clive Skilton's Vauxhall funny car looking pretty in the pits. It seems like you didn't need a lot of tools etc to run a fuel funny car in the UK in the 1970's.
