My first visit to Santa Pod was with my brother in 1969, I was 6 at the time, it was a trip that would start my passion for drag racing that has lasted 40 years now.
In 1996 I was given some free webspace with my first internet connection and decided to post some pictures that my brother had taken between
1970-1974.
Soon after some other people like Nick Worsell, Alan Peck and Nick Pettitt kindly shared their collections and the website grew.
In November 2006 a Public Discussion forum was added, this gave everyone the chance to join in and share their knowledge about the sport they enjoy so much, it also gave people the chance to share their own collection of pictures for everyone else to see. Thanks to it's great members and moderators the forum has remained a friendly and educational place to visit and now features 1000's of pictures and a mine of information.
Hopefully with new members the website keep can keep on growing and remind us all
of the great people and vehicles that make up the history of UK drag racing.
