On now to Atco Dragway New Jersey for some Tuesday evening gamblers racing and test 'n' tune. It was a great track and really well run show. The only problem was the car park wasn't very well lit and when I left I managed to turn onto the return road until one of the officials stopped me and pointed me in the right direction just before the next pair of cars headed towards me!!!

Needless to say it was a fantastic three weeks, excellent cars and the nostalgia funny cars, slingshots, altereds and gassers were a lot more period correct than those you see at the big meets, they were even pushing the slingshots back to the line after the burnouts at Beaver Springs, something I've not seen for about 40 years...

Memories like those stay with you forever and are priceless.
Only downside is that trips to the USA do spoil you a bit and things aren't quite the same when you go racing over here.
