Is this for all of this years albums Tony?

Just tried it again (Now in Eastbourne) and still the same, tried in google chrome and it works and I can see all the photos. Strange :?
I have to ask Tony but was it your computer (the same one) in Eastbourne?

I can't believe looking through this thread how quick time goes but it's only a few days left for this years event.
Sandwiched between 2 other meetings your support is always appreciated at Shakey and it's a great chance to pick up some extra points.

Finally a few of mine and hopefully better later than never.
A great sportmans meeting and apart from a couple of mishaps it was very well run so well done to all the Shakey team who did a top job all weekend.

One thing that I found amusing was the drivers who instead of rolling through the water box before starting the burnout actually started the burnout in the water so here is top 3 in the "Shakey Spray" competition :)

No3:Alan Loten who gave a decent show with some spray and a small rooster tail

No2: Adam Price who gets a nice wider spray of water. (He did go on to make a fantastic save during a wild ride in the car)

No1: A clear winner with huge rooster tails on both sides was Bob Hawkins in the ex Speed Demon car :)
Bob did the quickest pass in WB history and just a little slower than Sam ever run in the car.

Cracking shots as usual Jon. Love the 'Shakey Spray' shots. Can't say I noticed this practice was going on but still fun to watch and captured well. That tyre distortion shot from Paul Hensher certainly rattled my ears. Just thing what it was like inside the cab!! There was some tyre torture going in the Funny Bike class as well from eventual winner Richard Eric. Not sure if you caught a couple of those but again rattled my ears on start line.

It was truly a fantastic weekend for everyone concerned. No one can help the incidents that took place but its just a shame that the fans of drag racing don't take more time out to watch sportsman racing as in more ways than one its the best dam quarter mile racing on the planet!
