Its Bazz Young and Micky Moore's Desperado Pro Comp Dragster

Not sure, but doubt it. Previously it was Tony Froome's "Nitromania" injected Pontiac dragster.

Bazz's website says 'With help from Olly Burn a new front end and 392 Chrysler Hemi were fitted'

I've asked Bazz to post more details.

slight correction that's not 'Alleygator' it's Russ Carpenter's 'Even More Trouble' 8)

Nice line-up of rails... 1977?

Yes Russ's car I should have recognised the yellow Triumph 2000 push car.
Not sure of the date so it could be '77.
Cheers

Greetings from America... The original chassis was built by Benbow and Fullerton (I'm guessing very early 70's), later lengthened by Tony (Froome) and campaigned as Nitromania (with injected Pontiac on Nitro), then acquired by Mick and I, and retitled as Sunburst. Another year later with much help from Olly Burn, a new chassis from firewall forward, blown 392 on alchohol and another new name - "Desperado". I blew it up (spectacularly) and crashed the car at the Fireworks meeting in 1978, chassis didn't survive...
