This article was in July 2011 issue of Hot Rod magazine. I wasn't very sucsessful in scanning the article though, maybe some one else could scan a better version.

Here you go, I can just about remember this car as one of the first car I watched going down the drag strip as a very young boy on I'm first trip to the Pod in 66 or 67.

Greetings all.
I briefly toyed with the idea of buying Megalomania from Owen Gibson and here's
the last deal he proposed:

I could also sell you the car with contract for restoration at my shop. Would come out less money.
Megalomania as a roller $2500
parts I have on hand $9500
body and paint $7000
400 hours labor @$42 $16800
plus 15% for a not to exceed contract.
I could also sell you the car with contract for restoration at my shop. Would come out less money.

That totals $36-$41k, which doesn't sound too bad when you consider the amount of work involved.
I haven't checked back with him for a few weeks so I don't know if it's still available or whether the quote
is still good.
Regards to all,
Cliff Jones.

Was in a pub in Acle, near the broads in Norfolk about 40 years ago, when I was having a pint and talking to a guy at the bar, who said he used to drag race." Oh yes, so what car?"says I.
" Megalomania" says he,
" so you must be Keith Sales?" says I.
" Oh so you have heard of me!"
Small world!
