Great pics!
The Limo looks like one that was at the London motor show back in the mid 80s-when Street Machine magazine had the longest,shortest,lowest,fastests (Brian Patermans Pontiac Firebird) themed display there.
I spent most of the time watching some great old drag racing film footage playing there on the same stand:D .

Michelin used to have a few of those Checker Marathon limos for tyre testing in the 60's and 70's.

Those other slides are neat, pity there aren't more, it'd be nice to find a whole box full.

well nobody bidded on them and I thought it rude not to, so I did, and today they arrived. 10 out of the 16 are drag racing all taken at the last round of the '67 US Commandos meet, including a GT40 which turned up and a bike which I think going by the race no. is a 250cc Royal Enfield run by W. Branton....

they were later replaced by Dick's Place
