What next? NHRA have introduced thousand foot from 1320,then the "Countdown"enabling the situation where (in Funny car) the"Winner" of the Championship won three races and second place man had won SEVEN and set several records through the season. I would have thought the Team Sponsors might be questioning this "format"
It is also used in NASCAR ,to enliven the Championship?, but when you see the fans comments I wouldn't think it has succeeded!
I really question why this recent change is actually needed, World records have to be backed up still don't they?
