The largest gathering of nitro funny cars ever seen in Australia took place at Sydney Dragway on 24th November, 2013 when 13 of the beasts took to the 1320. The Aeroflow Outlaw Nitro Funny Car 'circus' is the brainchild of internationally-known Graeme Cowin and is designed to bring excitement and fast, close, heads-up racing back to the fore. Rick Gauci drove the Graeme Cowin-owned 'Nitro Express' 57 Chev to the two quickest outlaw/nostalgia FC et's yet seen in Australia with a 5.751 at 234.09, followed by a 5.697 at 249.67 in the final round. The Aussie fans were in for a treat with Ron Capps taking the seat of the 'LA Hooker' Arrow, also owned by Graeme Cowin.
