Bob Hawkins is now the new owner of Vic Hammonds tasty Speed Demon dragster.
David Williams of Wild Bunch fame has made up some nice new tin work for the car which will be the same as the Time Traveller car.
Bob plans to run some Wild Bunch and Super Pro next year starting at Easter as the car is now MSA eligible. They are also hoping to do some match racing and flame burns at Hockenheim.
I'm happy that Bob has got the car as it's one of the niecest FED this side of the pond and I can't wait to see it out next season.

After a bright start with the reappearance of Oblivion at the NSRA Nostalgias last year , things did'nt go well after that , work and family commitments meant the HRD's were the next event attended .
With trouble on the Saturday trying to get the engine to run and stay running , we gave up and went home disappointed .
So a quick check over in December revealed a wrecked big end on number 8 which had smashed the oil pump , rear main cap , scored the crank and broke the skirt of the piston . :(
If it breaks build it stronger then ! as a result the 'glide and 12 bolt axle went to Zannetec for a rebuild
and one of Real Steels finest ( a 383 Chevy ) is being put together and dyno'ed so hopefully by the beginning of April all will be back together ready to try again :D
