Some of the riders will be performing old time burnouts against the burnout block as well as taking part in Saturday afternoons flag starts. More news when we get it.

Alan Martin has been in touch about this year’s 25th NSRA Hot Rod Drags event apparel design featuring a good old British Austin Devon gasser as the main subject vehicle on the back of each garment. As always T-shirts, hoodies, zip front hoodies, ladies fit Ts and kids ts will be available in all sizes in black from Friday afternoon. Prices are yet to be confirmed but as always once they have gone, they've gone! There will be no repeat orders.

Ring leader and Circus racer Nick Brooke-Langham has been in touch with the line up for the final round of this years Gasser Circus Showdown taking place at the NSRA Hot Rod Drags. All the usual suspects are accounted for including the return to the drag strip of Terry Howarth's Goldrush now in the hands of Kev Stevett. Here's the line up...

To coincide with the 25th anniversary NSRA Hot Rod Drags today, 9th September is the 40th anniversary of drag racing at Long Marston Airfield. So happy birthday. Here's to the next 40 years!
