Just seen the back to basics day pictures on Eurodragster and noticed some really nice looking slingshots, does anyone know if there's any history on these cars or are they modern built? A link for some info will do if anyone has one.

I have spent many fruitless hours looking for a Scandinavian version of UKDRN, to be honest! There is such a rich history out there, but it seems no one has ever written it.

Wasn't there a swedish book published last year? Muddy was trying to get hold of a copy.

Also there's that swedish nostalgia site (or it's a part of a modern site) We may of already looked at that on this forum, I know I've seen it as I mentioned to Timetravel about seeing Goggin's 'Clunk Click' Camaro on the street in one of the pics! Nick's gotta better memory than me. :?

I've found a link to the Swedish Vintage Dragracing Association, it looks like there similar to our
Wildbunch and have events like we do at Shakey, they have a few pictures from Shakey on the front page.

That's a good find there Jon. I particularly like the 'Blacksmith Nationals' posters, and those shots from Shakey must belong to Neal Read, especially the ones of Sid's old dragster outside the aero hangers.
