More great news for the 20th NSRA Nostlagia Nationals is that German led light Jürgen Schomann will be bringing his blown and wild 41 Willys altered from Germany to mix it up with the 12 Supercharged Outlaws already entered.

Dave McKenzie has in touch to let us know that the UK's Supercharged Outlaws set their 2014 calendar at their AGM in Ettington last weekend. In 2014 you will be able to enjoy the Supercharged Outlaws at the following events:

24th-26th May: Yanks Weekend, Shakespeare County Raceway
20th-22nd June: NSRA Nostalgia Nationals, Shakespeare County Raceway
11th-13th July: Dragstalgia, Santa Pod Raceway
7th-10th August: Bulldog Bash, Shakespeare County Raceway
29th-31st August: VW Action, Santa Pod Raceway
12th-14th September: NSRA Hot Rod Drags, Shakespeare County Raceway

At the NSRA Nostalgia Nationals the Supercharged Outlaws' Guest of Honour will be none other than Rod Hynes (pictured). Rod is credited with keeping Fuel Altered racing alive in the USA and without him we would not have the wild fuel altereds we have today. Rod will be in the Supercharged Outlaw pits and on the start line with the Outlaws. He will also be the Grand Marshal of the event. More details of Rod's visit at a later date, it's just a pity he is not bringing a race car with him although I'm sure if he's asked Rod wouldn't think twice to a drive in one of the UK altereds!

Alan Martin has been in touch with this year’s 21st NSRA Nostalgia Nationals event apparel design featuring a Fuel Altered as the main subject vehicle on the back of each garment. As always T-shirts, hoodies, zip front hoodies, ladies fit Ts and kids ts will be available in all sizes in black from Friday afternoon. Prices are yet to be confirmed but as always once they have gone, that’s it. There will be no repeat orders.
