Hey Guys
finally got round to getting my self on ukdrn hope that you all found the form working ok. In response to the question about a database, from a technical point of view thats not a issue how ever it does raise issues about data protection and the such like all of which is a fairly complex and confusing road to travel along. Any Feedback about the form would be noted and be used to improve

In other news my images from the most enjoyable weekend for a while (no rain bar friday) can be found at the normal link http://www.modernpics.co.uk/gallery/index.php also watch out for hot rod 09 coming soon!

Not only does Crazy Chris Hartnell own a nostalgia slingshot dating back to '69 but he also now has this nostalgia hot rod which dates back to 1982 when it was built by Paul Rutter with Jago body and 390 Ford power. Here's some pics I took in the 80s.........

Well, we mean to go on with this thread with some photos from this years 21st anniversary edition with some images of some memorable AFX replica Stockers and the Gasser Circus from Jeni Long, Dave Derry and Steve Wexler of Eclipse Photos. I will try and find a bit more info about these and others and add them to the captions.

The Funny Car Farm Dodge. There's not much information about this car. Not even a commentry sheets. Does anyone else know of its origination?

Image
Tim Bowman's windowless '55 Chevy Gasser called Tim's Gasser Cave!

Image
This is Lee Pointer's hurriedly imported 383 ci stroked '55 Chevy called the Gas Chamber. I used the term hurriedly as Lee's import from LA only arrived at Bristol Docks last week and was quickly dispatched to the track in short order.

Image
Injected Plymouth Fury.

Image
'Crazy Chris' Hartnell debuts the Malibu Express replica canopy at the Drags and still runs wheelstanding ET's in the 9.1s.

Image
Its critical alright and its a Cuda. Its 500 ci B1 engine powered Brian Jones to consistent 9.3s as well as the KOS [King Of Street] title at the Mopar EuroNats in July.

Here's a few from the nostalgia display....

Nick Osgathorpe's Excalibur nostalgia Top Fuel slingshot.

Image
Matts Anderson's Opel GT formerly raced by the Clifton Bros at Long Marston in the eighties.

Image
What's left of Mr Shifter Top Modified Roadster. Thanks Adam for bringing it to the Drags.

Image
No you're not seeing double. This is Norm Wheeldon's Too Much twin engined slingshot. The sound was awesome.
