Hi,
My brother and I where drag racers back in the 60's with the Ford 289 powered Pop "GOLDRUSH", we later turned our attentions to street rods, my brother Chris building a 327 chevy powered 'T' bucket 'ROD 5' painted by Eddy Wimble. running an ally 4 speed and 32 Ford beam and Jag 'E' type rear end. I built a Daimler 2.5 hemi supercharged Ford Pop,with a Ford C4 trans and narrowed Jag live axle with coil overs and Watts linkage, Front suspension was Vauxhall Viva ( what made me do that!)with Jag brakes adapted, ran on Wolferace slots REG.No.SCD 234 would be pleased to know the whereabouts or what happened to both vehicles. Any pics of all 3 cars would be great.
p.s. we know what happened to GOLD RUSH, we shoe horned the engine and box into an MGB for some mad irishman complete with 12.5 to 1 comp,310 duration cam and twin fours for the street!!! The body and chassis was sold to Mr.T. who put it on the street with a 273 chrysler in it.
