Hi guy's

Just found this excellent site and have spent hours trawling through the many pics and articals, brought back many memories of my child hood at the drags.

Norm
regarding your post tracking down some of your old cars I can tell you that my father Dave Burfitt did indeed buy the old Wheelthing/Coyotee/Dart as a rolling chassis from Andy Muir and ran it as Boss Cat.
He bought it in around 84/85 without the T body, and ran the car with the engine that had been in the previous Boss Cat's. The body fitted to the car was the ex Colin Fisher Themis topolino that he had run on the previous car. This soon became tatty and another Topolino body was purchased from the Cross brothers Deadly Messiah altered.
This body was the one with the rear arches which they sold prior to running the enclosed roof body on their car.

Dad sold the car in 1988 to a guy called Paul Fogger Smith who lived local to us in Dorset, and was a mate of Dave Grabham or Jim Seward at the time. I Think he ran it with the Jag motor for a while but it was then swapped for a small block.
Dave Grabham put an artical on Eurodragster back along asking the where abouts of the car now, but I cannot recall anyone knowing but I may be wrong.

Cheers Andy

Any idea who carried out the front end work? and did it run the tripod front with the Jag motor?
Also what happend to the blue Themis body?

Hi Andy !
I'm sure that Fogger did the work himself and installed the Chrysler at the same time.
I don't think Adrian ever had the Themis body.
Dave.

Hi Andy.
If you can find the car and/or who cut of the front axle i would like to buy it cos it was built by
bootsie in 74 and was on our first three altereds. I think it would look great bolted to the workshop wall!!
Say hello to the old man

Norm.
