I bought this pop many moons ago and didn't know anything about it.

It's a bit further on than the last pic and i was hoping to get it to the first york meet of the year but bad weather has put that on hold. Does any one have any more info on it.

Neat! Love the 70's look with the pro stock scoop.

Cheers-not sure if im gonna put a scoop on but i may do just to cover the hole that was cut for the velocity stack. Paint wise the choice is rub all the blue off and leave as is (the shells glass so it's never going to rot)
Or strip it and repaint it-but ''IF'' i do that i will give it the first set of stripes on the drivers side and the second version on the passenger side. Simply cos i love both versions and can't pick a favourite

I really like what you are doing here, the chubby front tyres look brill. Nice to see a pop done in a unique style, good call on redoing the paint as it was too. I look forward to seeing this one progress.

Thanks...the way most pops are built they end up being two seaters- so i just thought engine in back and shit loads of leg room in front - i'm 6 foot one and it's very comfy. It originally ran a v6 ford so i've just used a modern ford lump-it did have a 302 in it when last raced and ran tens so i think a big silly turbo is in order and then i can spank the eights in a straight line and everything else round the bends.

Got the windows in recently and you can see the original stripes on the drivers door and from the right angle you can just make out '' the bitch''

Thanks-i've seen those already and they actually led me to finding the guy who's stood over the 302 and his brother at the back of the car. It turns out that when i showed my very good friend all the pics i'd found he said ''my mate used to own that'' and he rang him up and he came over to the steel city show 2012 to see it.His name is paul warne and he sold the car in 87/88 (i got it in 90) he thought it was long gone-so it was a massive surprise for him seeing it again. Bit by bit i keep finding little snippets of info-when it goes back to york im sure i'll find out lots more. thanks again peeps.
