Bill Shrewsbery helped Plmouth with the development of the Hemi under Glass but as far as I am aware it was always driven by Bob Riggle but maybe not. Bill Shrewsbery also campaigned the Knott's Berry Wagon Ford Model A panel wheelstander and was involved with the Lil Red Wagon too.

Here's a shot taken by Dave Derry at York of what was the Castrol Vauxhall VX4/90 after Pennine promoter Steve Murty had done a deal with Kelly Superchargers. Was that Kelly Springfield Tyres! Anyone know anything about the deal?

It was the tyre company, Don't know the details tho, Steve still owns the car, & we keep trying to get him to make it run again.

Having been given most of Doug's photographic collection to wade through I came across a few more shots of The Rocket wheelie truck taken at Avon Park in the early nineties. I don't think that we found any more info on the truck other than this was its one and only appearance on a drag strip at the 1991 All Star Funny Car Meet.

I have put up photos of that from one of the "Night of Fire" events at Shakey, it was the same meeting when Ronnie was there in the jet Kenny and he lit the bombfire with it. (92/93/94?)

I don't recall seeing them Tony. I can remember when Ronnie lit the bonfire at the Goodguys UK Night of Fire event in either '93 or '94. I was working alongside Martin Bennett at those events. Could you dig them out again. :D

PS: Tony Smith's Photos; I called the house again and they don't know you
