JagoV8 - rather than clog up the thread with loads of pix, if you pm me I'll send you a load of pix that I had from the time I bought the car - up to the point I sold it.
I have ident pix of the steering box and front axle, which were both original parts I acquired with the car. I also have internal cockpit shots showing the LHD steering - again as original.
Not sure, but I think the donkey went into Mick's Calibra.
When I bought it, it was as last raced less the various parts. Even the body paint wasn't bad given the condition of the rest of it.
Mick said it was OK to use "Mr.Shifter", but my various cars had all been named "Shiftin' Sands" - at least "Shift" appeared in the title !
I had a definitive picture of what I wanted the car to look like - Eddie Sigmon's car, so Candy Pink it had to be!
One thing I'm a bit confused by - I see that Tim Holmes was involved down the line as having sold it to John Atkinson. I'll check out my receipts and documents, but I thought I sold it to a guy called Jon Atkinson. Anyway, the guy I sold it to made a living excavating lake style pools - can't be too many of them about ?
