Hi Tony,
I was at the Pod for the Main Event in May and talking to Keith Bartlett and we were talkin about "Slick Tricks" etc and I asked him if he knew what happened to you, He said the last time he saw you was in a bar in Spain in the 90's . And now here you are on the forum. I think Keith Harvey is still running his parts empire in the States. If you are in this country it would be great to meet up . Let me know O.K.
regards
Pete Crane

Theres some awesome pics of both cars on the links! I esp. liked Firebrewed ( cars just gotta have doors!) One pic has me stumped tho? I'm a big Ford fan & thought I new most cars that ran in the '70's but don't recognise the '58/9 Ford you can just see in this pic.

It could be Melvyn Wooding's Blue Rose 1 '57 Fairlane which he ran in '72.

yes thats Melvin Wooding and the original blue rose 57 fairlane in August 1972 at Santa Pod. one of Firebreweds first outings with a one carburetor tunnel ram. its up on jacks because it through a rod out of the bottom of the pan that day. In the early days before a trailer I towed it back and forth with an A frame and towing hubs.
