I wonder if the engine used in Moonraker still exists somewhere, there was a 4 page feature on it in Hot Rod back in 1958

I was wondering the same thing.
Ian Richardson was one of the first people to contact me many years ago when ukdrn was first online.

I guess it's the same Ian Richardson that built this horny looking CanAm McLaren M8 suspended and big block Chevy powered Corvair

I believe Ian Richardson ran Wildcat Engineering specialising in large capacity Rover motors(up to 6 litre) with their own designed and CNC machined heads.
I read that he retired in 2012 and sold the business to ACR.
I would love to know what happened to Moonraker and that Butterfield engine.
