There was a bit of a thread on facebook and colin theobald replied " you wont be disappointed with its replacement" and he left it at that.

I hope it not gone forever as its iconic to the pod and clearly shows the end of the track ( well almost as the finish line is just behind).

There's nothing like this at any of the other current tracks in europe that i have been to.

Didnt they used to film ontop of the gantry? Nitro Zap seems to have cameras filming Leif Halender. I know they had a crane at one point. Crazy idea but was anyone actually up there filming?
