Does anyone know what's the quickest Allan ever run in a Fuel FC?

He qualified number one at the Prudhomme Finals event with a 6.21, out qualifying Don's 6.22. He then fell asleep at the lights and lost to Rune Fjeld in the first round  I think that was his quickest AA/FC time.

HTH

Edited to add: the 6.21 was the pass you just posted on the video section Jon. I remember the guys hat being blown off!

Bootsie went a bit quicker the following year with a 6.19/224m.p.h. in the semis at the 1981 September World Finals.

That was against Sweden's Lennard Ekeving. Unfortunately for Bootsie it all came to a disappointing end in the final against Harlan Thompson when the 'Gladiator' broke its crank in the burnout. However, during Thompson's 6.30 winner, the American did a 'Bootsie' and blew the roof off the 'American Graffiti' Dodge Omni nearing the finishing stripe.
