I was crewman on 'Super Pumpkin' during the time it was owned by Pete and Maggie Devlin. The car influenced the direction of my hobby from that day on. In the last couple of years I was privileged to get to know Billy through a contact made on this forum. He was a mine of enthusiasm and knowledge and most of all passion for the hobby that he had enjoyed so much. He was generous in sending me both information and film of the car from it's early days and the underlying image in it all was a young man having a lot of fun.
RIP Billy, you've been a great inspiration.
My thoughts go out to family and friends.
