going to start on them after the Old School Fords at Shakey Sept 29/30. We have a plan for the heads,
nothing major just standard size valves port n polish and some custom roller rockers probibly sbc ones
Just doing that to the heads will give us around 100 brake and about the same in torque!
A pair of 300 heads will give out an extra 60 brake and about 80 torque on a Rover as standard
and I have a bare pair of those if any rover boys are interested!

Found some more Rover V8 Championship action in Doug's suitcase from 1990 BDRA events at Avon Park. The first features Phil Herrick's Super B MGB.
Mr Mad Ford Pop against Terry Kimber-Smith's Cobra.
Kevin Jenkins at the wheel of Bob Nixon's Ford Pop taking on Paula Atkin's Ford 100E.

Thanks for those pics Jerry/Doug. The BGT has the bootlid opening as the bodyshell obviously twisted on the launch and the standard BGT catch released! I finally cured that using a pit pin through the tailgate....Good racing at the HRDs Jez.
