Small clips of this were on the website a while ago but heres the full version.

In 1972 Ian Turbuville and a few friends made a short movie at Santa Pod in 16mm film as part of his second year degree course in fine art at Nottingham University for which he got a BA hons II.

Sadly the 34 year old film has suffered some deterioration over time and the soundtrack wasn't able to be saved but what's left is some fantastic footage of teams like the Stones Tee-Rat, a classic match race between Allan Herridge and Dennis Priddle and loads of other stuff from the day like the Firebrewed Pro Stocker.

Great stuff I loved the the Stones footage in the 2nd film,I wonder if there's any film of the 2nd Dragfests and the early US visitors to the Pod Bud Barnes etc out there waiting to be discovered
