The Pink Panther chassis is still on the scene, well it will be this year as it now sits underneath Ronnie Picardo's jet Peterbilt, Heat Wave which is destined to be back out for at least Flame & Thunder.

Thanks Glenn, when I posted that feature I did wonder what had happened to it.

A British feature in a US magazine and very kindly scanned from December 1965 Hot Rod and sent to us from Ed O'Connell.

While shifting some stuff around I have been delving into my old comics again and came across a few issues of the seventies children's magazine Speed & Power. I can't remember how many issues this ran for but certainly during its time the publishers, IPC Transport Press ran quite a few drag racing related features. So here's one of the early editions - number 13 from 1974 costing just 10p (a whole weeks pocket money) a story about the Tornados On Two Wheels. I will try and scan up a few issues which isn't easy when the magazine's page format is slightly bigger than an A4 scanner.

I love the scooter and I think there is now a 100mph lambretta record holder with a lambretta engine if my memory serves my right

I see you are digging out all the good stuff Jerry. :D
They were a good team to work with at Speed and Power.
Oh, and Dave the sparky has good taste about the scooter - but maybe I am biased!

A few more scans from Speed & Power. This article about Stripteaser came from the last ever issue before the magazine merged with Look & Learn in late 1975.
