brilliant shot of a naked Mr Revell, wonder what the best times it ran like this, there's something about a FED with canards in front of the motor that does it for me

Hullabaloo the '68 Barracuda on page 50 is still alive and racing. I first saw the car in about 1980, as a rolling shell at Pete Goddards place. It had a flame paint job as I recall and that odd egg crate grille, he told me it was the old Hullabaloo car. Some friends of friends bought it, put the correct grille in it and painted it sublime, it then passed on to Dave Bishop who had it for a while during which time I did some welding on it, and I would dispute it was ever acid dipped. Dipped cars are notoriously difficult to weld or do body work on. Dave did little with it and sold it to Mark Bailey who finally got it back together and racing. Mark has raced it for many years now, it's the silver car in pro et. Unless Mark ever drove it on the street, I think this must have been a race car pretty much from day one.

I think I'm right in saying that the RED Houndog was the first Top Fueler to be fitted with a reverse gear

Geoff James has been kindly scanning some images for me that I will be sharing.
I thought I would start with this shot of the late Angus (Ag) McPhail "Ag’s Barra" A 250cc Arial Arrow-powered bike which held a number of records at the time. Greenham Common 1970
