So when was the first Skilton v Priddle match up in Funny Car then?

I think it was at Wroughton on the 15th June 1975 in the final of the Tor Line Funny Car Championship final round when Dennis beat Clive 6.95/204 to 8.03/161. I just remembered that off the top of my head

Yay!!! I was there, I knew I'd seen Priddle/Skilton in a funny car battle. I remember seeing a TV clip previewing this fantastic meet, probably shown on the Friday before the race and likely to have been HTV West local news. I was a student living in Bristol then, not very far away from Wroughton. Would be great if this footage emerged from somewhere to be seen again...

John Dickinson's report in Autosport said they met for the first time in the 2nd round, Dennis ran 7.1+196mph Clive red lit 8.1, in the final Dennis against Roland Pratt, Roland had problems starting so Clive lined up against Dennis, Dennis taking the win 6.94+204 mph

it rained.
