I've been working on the 1971 programmes and have come across a dragster- BD4 Beau Awarra driven by Edward Yates,anyon have any pictures or info please?

The name/car doesn't ring a bell with me at all Jon. Just had a look through the 1971 race reports and couldn't find any mention of it at all. The driver in the first half of the year was Ed Yates, and then in the second half, it was B Sadler. In 1972, BD4 had become Bone-Nydle Too driven by Philip Smith still with the same Chevy engine. Then BD4 disappeared!

bit of a puzzler this one, these two pics are Brian Sparrows, first is dated 6-11-70 and the other 31-5-71 and on both he's written "Age of Aquarius" hemes and Chevy 348ci. A colour pic of this car has appeared on either this site or Acceleration Archives and I remember IDing it as Bone Nydle Too. We can't see a race # in Brian's pics which is a shame but I reckon there's a good chance this is the car in question
