I don't remember following the auction Norm, just the pics and listing ..

On the subject of old T chassis .. I notice 'Jean's T' chassis for sale in cars for sale on the eurodragster swapmeet ..

This car was still For Sale at the National Finals this year at the Pod.

There was and ad on the toilet wall for sale section

It was at a good price if I remember too.

It would have been built 1983 at the latest so where was it from then to Rob Emmett in the Wildbunch in 94 ??

Norm,

Before it was painted like that Rob ran it in Pro ET against Tantrum so must of been early 90's. He was Pro ET champ too if i recall. It always ran well and nearly won one of the early Goodguys shootouts. I remember a pic of him with his hands in the air as he redlit in the final...

I think Rob went to crew on Joe Amatos car and then moved on to help the English guy Dave (memory blank) with Cruz's interstate batteries car.

I think the guys your thinking of is Dave Fletcher and I'm sure he used to crew for the Houndog Team?

Here's a couple of photos of Yorkshire T in both paint finishes.

Jerry you are both right. Dave and Rob both went to the States to work for different teams.

Arr you're the guys I met up in the tower last Sunday at Shakey. Keep us up to speed with the rebuild of the car as it sounds like you're intentions are to run with the Wild Bunch then.
