"Torque Ot' North" this pop ran in the early eighties at York and the Pod by Preston's Roger Watson, who ran it along with Smax Smith's 'Ant Hill Mob' group of racers all from Preston. I think the car was originally Jean Tidswell's "Jeans E" pop.The car ran  355c.i. Chevy power and was fairly successful in York's Top Car category. The car ran polished Centreline's up front, although not shown this pic.
The car was eventually sold to Howard Jenning's around 86 time, who repainted the car in the colours of his sponsors Slumberland beds! He rolled the car totally wrecking it on one of his first passes at Santa Pod!
